Delivery Hero SE has recently merged three prominent food delivery platforms—foodora and Yemeksepeti in Europe, and foodpanda in Asia—creating the second-largest entity within the Delivery Hero Group. Operating across 18 markets, this unified organization is dedicated to providing outstanding food delivery and Q-Commerce services. Within this vibrant ecosystem, foodpanda is on a mission to serve a “Meal for Every Table,” currently reaching 25% of Pakistan’s population and driving meaningful change nationwide. We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Account Management, to join our commercial team. This role is pivotal in nurturing vendor partnerships and driving sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager will focus on increasing order volumes and ensuring vendor retention, exclusivity, and enhanced relationships, particularly with GMV Class A & B vendors. This involves delivering a comprehensive 360-degree service designed to optimize business performance and growth.
You will enhance the vendor experience by training restaurant staff, collaborating closely with operations teams and restaurant owners to improve menu presentation, and sharing detailed performance reports. Working alongside the marketing team, you will help design and execute promotions and events that drive engagement.
A key part of your role will be to identify and implement innovative value-add initiatives. This includes proactively securing exclusive partnerships with key accounts, both offline and on the foodpanda platform, with monthly growth targets as a core KPI.
Ensuring high-quality delivery photography for top accounts is also essential to maintain brand standards. You will manage deal acquisition for monthly and event-driven campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Monitoring logistics performance on a daily and weekly basis to minimize issues and failure rates is critical. You will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to define requirements, develop strategies, and oversee tactical implementation plans.
Managing project plans across departments, including identifying risks, resolving blockers, and tracking actions, will be part of your responsibilities. Supporting cross-functional teams by facilitating communication of lessons learned, resolving urgent issues, coordinating group-level support, and deploying necessary tools and processes is also expected.
Maintaining clear communication and visibility across teams and reporting progress to senior management will ensure alignment and transparency. You will also undertake additional tasks and projects as required to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 1-2 years of proven experience in account management or a similar role. A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required.
Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and conduct thorough business reviews. Familiarity with food industry operations and costing is important to understand vendor needs and optimize partnerships.
