Job Summary
We are looking for a committed Quality Assurance Officer/Executive to join our corrugation manufacturing unit based in Korangi, Karachi. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The position is full-time, offering a competitive monthly salary between Rs60,000 and Rs80,000. Candidates must have reliable transportation or be willing to relocate to Korangi Creek prior to starting work.

Key Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Officer/Executive will assist in investigating customer complaints and ensure complete product traceability throughout the manufacturing process. You will coordinate the calibration and verification of measuring instruments to maintain accuracy and reliability. Enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and 5S standards on the shop floor is essential to uphold operational excellence.

You will provide quality assurance support during machine trials, material changes, and process modifications, ensuring smooth transitions without compromising quality. Participation in quality training sessions aimed at enhancing the skills of production and quality control staff is also expected.

Reviewing batch records and inspection logs will be part of your duties, along with maintaining an organized filing system to guarantee traceability. Supporting external audits and certification processes, including ISO and FSC standards, is a key responsibility.

Conducting in-process and final quality inspections to verify compliance with product specifications is critical. You will assist in implementing QA systems, maintaining thorough documentation, and identifying non-conformities. Your role will contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement. Maintaining detailed inspection records to ensure full traceability of quality checks is mandatory.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a graduate degree in Science or a technical field, or at minimum, possess a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Intermediate level qualification. A background of 1 to 3 years in Quality Assurance is required, preferably within the packaging or corrugation industry.

Basic knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) techniques is necessary. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication and reporting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
