Job Summary
As a Product Owner at Sofstica, you will serve as a crucial link between our clients and the development team, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Your role involves translating the client’s product vision and strategic goals into clear, actionable tasks while managing the product backlog and facilitating agile workflows. Your leadership and coordination will be vital in delivering high-quality products that meet market demands and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining transparent and consistent communication to align project goals and expectations with the development team.
- Vision Translation: Interpret and convert the client’s product vision and strategic objectives into detailed, actionable tasks that address both market needs and business priorities.
- Design Architecture: Take ownership as the chief design architect for the product, responsible for creating and maintaining the Functional Specification Document to guide development efforts.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and continuously update the product backlog based on evolving customer requirements and business priorities, ensuring it reflects current project needs.
- Requirements Gathering: Collect, analyze, and document client requirements to develop comprehensive user stories that effectively guide the development process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional development teams to ensure timely delivery of features that meet quality standards and client expectations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Business Analyst, Product Owner, or product management role, ideally within a product-focused company.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, along with hands-on experience in product development processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between clients and technical teams.
- Proven ability to analyze data and make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance product outcomes.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience working specifically in a product company environment is highly desirable.
- Holding a Product Owner certification, such as the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), is considered an advantage.

This is a full-time, in-person role requiring candidates to have relevant product company experience. Applicants should be prepared to detail their product-related background during the application process. A bachelor’s degree is preferred for this position.
