Job Summary

The Training and Development Specialist is a key contributor to the growth and effectiveness of the organization’s workforce. This role is responsible for identifying development needs across the company, designing targeted training programs, and implementing learning initiatives that enhance employee skills and productivity. By fostering a culture of continuous learning, the specialist helps close competency gaps and supports the organization’s strategic objectives. Collaboration with various departments and leadership ensures that training efforts are aligned with business goals and promote ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full spectrum of organizational training requirements, including onboarding, product knowledge, system training, and performance management programs. Deliver engaging and informative training sessions focused on general skills and orientation to ensure new employees achieve defined performance standards.

Conduct thorough Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to accurately identify priority learning areas. Develop and maintain a comprehensive training calendar that reflects business demands and compliance obligations, ensuring timely and effective program delivery.

Ensure the quality and consistency of training materials and courses by monitoring participation rates and evaluating the impact of training interventions. Encourage and support line managers in developing facilitation and coaching skills to strengthen leadership capabilities within teams.

Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in learning and development. Integrate innovative methodologies such as the 70-20-10 learning model and Self-Directed Learning approaches to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of training programs.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related discipline is essential. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in training and development, demonstrating a strong ability to balance organizational objectives with a people-focused approach.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required to effectively design and deliver training content. Proven experience in creating and successfully implementing new training initiatives is highly valued.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary to address learning challenges creatively. Proficiency in MS Office is required, along with familiarity with business and communication platforms such as CRM systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and JARVIS.

The ability to motivate and engage line managers, business units, and leadership teams in capability-building efforts is crucial for success in this role.

Job Type and Compensation

This is a full-time position requiring in-person attendance at the designated workplace. The monthly salary range for this role is Rs120,000 to Rs150,000.
