JDS includes:

Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price.
Review purchase demands in order to verify accuracy, terminology and specifications
Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices
Research & evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier’s reputation & history.
Monitor and follow applicable laws & regulation
Negotiate prices with suppliers, vendors and other representatives
Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time with quality and resolve problem related to undelivered goods
Perform buying duties as and when necessary

COMPETENCIES:

Procurement knowledge and experience particularly Rawalpindi market
Expertise to procure technical stuffs (Mechanical, Electrical) and Food Items.
Should have Knowledge of ERP Software
Should have Communication, Negotiation Skills and Cost Consciousness
