Responsible for correct loading of flights meals in the High Loader and ensures that meal carts, containers, standard units are properly secured and the air conditioning unit in the vehicle is on.
Ensures that all flights meals are loaded according to the loading plan and on deadlines.
Ensures that all equipment for loading is properly labeled according to packing instructions.
Reports on duty on roster timings and in proper uniform.
Ensures that the Hi-loader attending arrival/departure is neat, clean, and tidy.
Ensures that after each handling (arrival), the High Loader is cleaned properly.
Ensures that enough dry ice is supplied with the food items to maintain required temperatures.
Follows the regulations of Airport Authorities, Customs, and Security. Any deviation is reported to Supervisor.
Ensure that driving license and Ramp pass of self is valid.
Should have comprehensive knowledge of radio communication procedures.
Should have knowledge of the driving, operating system of all kinds of catering vehicles.
Coordinates with the Transport and Chief Driver regarding the change of schedule.
Bears responsibility for training the Loaders.
Reports any accident or incident of the vehicle to Chief Driver immediately.
Maintains Driver’s Movement Report.
Abides by the regulations of Airport Authorities, Customs, and Security. Any deviation is immediately reported to Chief Driver/ Supervisor Assembly/Transport.
While delivering up-catering ensures the proper procedure is followed for parking up-catering Truck.
HTV driver license should be verifiable through DLMS (Driving License Management System).
