Technical Requirements:
- Application development experience using Oracle Database 10g/11g, SQL, PL/SQL, Toad, and Oracle forms and reports 10g/11g
- Must be able to analyze and document user requirements or business process requirements.
- Ability to analyze and document business process requirements using MS Visio, ERwin, etc.
- Experienced with the installation, configuration, patching, and upgrade of Linux platforms and manage OS related tasks
- Must be able to install, configure, and administer Oracle Database of any version 10g/11g/ 12c/19c on Linux platforms.
- Must be able to install, configure, patch and administer Oracle Applications R12 EBS on Linux platforms.
- Knowledge to install, configure Oracle Application Server 10g/11g/12c and its components like Forms server, report server etc will be a plus
- Strong concepts of back and recovery techniques and tools used to automate and monitor like sql scripting, bash scripting, RMAN, Data Pump, flashback technologies, etc
Job Description:
- Assist team lead in analyzing business process requirements, document, design, develop, test and implement the solutions within the company.
- Provide the 1st or 2nd inline support for the selected software applications.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of technical documentation, user documentation and process guidelines
- Second in line responsible for Installation, Configuration, Patching, and maintenance of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) and Oracle Application Servers (10g/11g/12c) on Linux and Windows platforms
- Administration of users, schemas of Oracle Database, Application and Oracle EBS
- Responsible for Backup and Recovery of Oracle DB, and EBS using Data Pump and RMAN and other techniques on scheduled intervals
- Responsible for creating and cloning test instances of Oracle databases and EBS
- Working effectively with Oracle Support in case of Service Request is raised.
- Vigilant monitoring and maintenance of space, logs, health of database, AS.
