Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 10-12 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project execution in accordance with design drawings, international standards, and health & safety procedures.

The role will involve supervising various mechanical systems including HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing works, as well as overseeing the preparation of shop drawings, materials submittals, and IPC. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively document project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise mechanical works in accordance with design drawings, international standards, and health & safety procedures.

2. Prepare shop drawings and materials submittals for mechanical systems.

3. Execute and supervise HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing works on site.

4. Monitor works progress and document project activities.

5. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

6. Collaborate with project team members to resolve technical issues and challenges.

7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.

8. Participate in project meetings, reviews, and presentations as required.

9. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

10. Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2. Minimum of 10-12 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.

3. Proficiency in interpreting design drawings, international standards, and health & safety regulations.

4. Strong knowledge and experience in HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.

5. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

7. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

8. Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion.

9. Familiarity with industry software tools and technologies.

10. Professional engineering license or certification preferred.
