Responsibilities:

 

1. Develop and Maintain Accounting Policies: Create and uphold accounting policies and procedures to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports.

2. Financial Statement Preparation: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

3. Accounts Receivable and Payable Management: Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments, to optimize cash flow.

4. Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to maintain financial accuracy.

5. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file taxes in adherence to local laws and regulations, keeping the company in good standing with tax authorities.

6. Financial Guidance: Provide valuable financial insights and guidance to senior leaders, aiding in strategic decision-making processes.

7. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring they meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Real Estate industry.
  3. Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  4. Team Management: Proven experience in managing a team of accounting professionals.
  5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex financial issues.
  6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with external stakeholders.
  7. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
