Job Description:

· Filing of monthly, annual and all statutory returns.

· Extensive knowledge of federal and provincial taxes including AJK.

· Maintenance of all taxation related documents and other tax authorities’ issues.

· Able to make compliance independently for the notices/ letters issued from the tax department.

· Handling tax audit with timely communication to tax advisors.

· Capable to attend and contest hearings before the Taxation Officer and Commissioner with all preparation and case knowledge

· Keeping update record of all issues relating to open assessment years and providing assistance to tax advisors in finalizing the issues involved

· Liaison with lawyers in cases where High Court is involved.

· Continuous liaison with tax advisors.

· Tax planning and increasing compliance within Company operations.

· Coordinating with Vendors/Customers for tax related issues.

· Enhancing tax knowledge of employees within the department and company.

· Managing compliance matters with SECP.

· Other tasks assigned by HOD.

Requirements:

· Have a minimum of five years of experience, with a minimum of two years of tax specialization

· A university degree or professional qualification in business or accounting is necessary

· The Applicant must have leadership abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills.

· You must fully understand relevant tax legislation as well as corporate tax compliance and planning.
