We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with proven US experience. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a meticulous approach to work.

Responsibilities:

Manage financial records:

Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
Record financial transactions accurately and timely.
Prepare and review bank reconciliations.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Prepare financial statements:

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and variances.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial statements.

Ensure compliance:

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and variances.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial statements.
Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations, standards, and procedures.
Implement and enforce internal control procedures.
Prepare and submit required tax filings, including income tax and sales tax returns.
Assist in the coordination of financial audits.

Financial analysis and reporting:

Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare management reports and provide insights on financial performance.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support.

Process improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Propose and implement process enhancements.
Participate in system implementations and upgrades.
Provide training and guidance to other team members, as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred.
2+ years of experience for US based accounting firm.
Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in a US-based accounting role.
In-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, XERO) and MS Office applications.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret com
