Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) seeks applications for full-time and/or adjunct faculty at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor positions for the LUMS School of Education. Specializations include education leadership, policy, management, curriculum and/or any other discipline with a concentration in education.
Applicants at the Assistant Professor level must demonstrate their potential to produce international research, have a commitment to excellence in teaching (in English), good interpersonal skills and networking ability. Applicants for higher levels must, in addition, have a proven track record of publications in high-impact international journals and a demonstrated capacity to pursue research funding and lead academic programs.
Postgraduate teaching experience is preferable for Assistant Professors but essential for senior appointments. A successful candidate should be able to design and teach courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, develop the School of Education academic program, and supervise Masters theses and capstone exercises. Active participation in the activities of the School of Education include close engagement with the international advisory group, local education practitioners, policy makers, and executive training opportunities.
