Full Job Description

Job Purpose: Assist lead suppliers; perform regular analysis of various inventory reports and evaluate same.

Maintain product and pricing data, prepare purchase orders, communicate with overseas vendors, suppliers and assist with invoicing, receipt of goods confirmation.

Duties:

You will have to review and initiate orders to overseas factories and also handle the review of all price increases or decrease.
As the procurement specialist you will be asked to partner with Buyers to run the reorder reports, enter orders into Finale inventory email factories with order details and track purchases.
Process orders for specific international customers, coordinating direct containers, communicate with overseas factories and facilitate orders through specialized database.
This responsibility requires constant monitoring and attention to detail.
Maintain master file of stock items updating specification files; recording reorder point information.
Verify warehouse inventory by inputting and adding supplies received to current inventory levels
Maintain purchase orders in Finale inventory , Verify product detail, pack, box markings, barcodes and all other pertinent information within the software. Monitor packaging requirements for all new and existing items
Maintain historical reference of stock by keeping records of items purchased; prices, delivery and shipping costs, and product or service acceptability.
Coordinate payment for overseas shipments.
Communicate with customers as well as our overseas offices to coordinate orders of international purchases
Follow up with overseas shipping agent and the factories
Ensure that we have all correct and complete shipping documents
Analyze and maintain cost analysis sheets
Follow up with shipping agent, shipping line
Update containers and shipment information
Update all the cross departments on the shipment status on a daily basis
Manage the shipment tracker
Follow up with shipping agent
Participate in the creation and presentation of pitch books
Maintain quality service by following organizational procedures
Work in a team environment to meet company goals
