Matrix Sourcing Group consists of a well established large scale apparel Company, with 3 independent small companies - Software Development, Clothing Brand, and a leading Restaurant.
The Group Companies have a regular import of raw materials for which they require an Import Executive to manage all imports.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Liaise with stores and inventory, and senior management to determine items to order and establish re-order levels
· Find overseas suppliers and negotiate best possible rates and terms
· Process proforma invoices and overseas purchase orders
· Process all required documentation and certifications for import from suppliers
· Preparation of Marine Insurance Covers
· Managing and processing TT Payments to oversea suppliers
· Establishing Letter of Credit to suppliers
· Expedite and track orders and shipments
· Liaise with clearing agents and negotiate good terms and rates for custom clearance
· Local freight and delivery
· Any other related duties as assigned by management
· Vboc knowledge and data entry in Vboc system
Experience: with Shipping companies, Clearing and Forwarding agents or with companies with regular imports and a proper import dept.
