Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning to determine project viability.
- Monitor project costs, track expenses, and prepare cost reports for management review.
- Review project specifications and contracts to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Assess and value variations and change orders in construction contracts.
- Evaluate and negotiate claims for additional payment or compensation.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, and payments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Project managers and engineers to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide cost advice and support to project teams, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
