We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Purchaser to source and procure mechanical components, equipment, and materials. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with expertise in mechanical purchasing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement:

Source and procure mechanical components, equipment, and materials
Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement

2. Supplier Management:

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms

3. Contract Management:

Manage contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations
Ensure compliance with contract terms

4. Inventory Management:

Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure optimal inventory levels
Identify opportunities for cost savings

5. Cost Analysis:

Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

1. Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field

2. Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on mechanical purchasing

3. Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical components, equipment, and materials
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for cost savings

4. Certifications:

Certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field are desirable
