We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our apps into easy-to-use products for our users. In collaboration with the team, the UI/UX designer delivers an outstanding user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive application design. The person is mainly responsible for collecting, researching, investigating and evaluating user requirements. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have experience with design software and wireframing tools. Preference will be given to candidates who have a portfolio of professional design projects of mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Product manager to plan and investigate user experience design requirements for new apps.
- Produce high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Design graphic UI elements
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes for new product ideas
- Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
- Test for intuitivity and experience
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Must-haves
- A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both mobile platforms.
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
