MetiCode Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a strong middle to senior level Mobile QA Engineer, testing on our IOS applications. The person will be mainly responsible for ensuring the quality of the apps by developing test practices and performing automated and manual testing methods for iOS apps.
The ideal candidate is mobile savvy, loves testing, understands what makes a great mobile app and LOVE iOS.
Responsibilities
- Write and execute tests.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Run and analyze failed auto-tests
- Work with development teams to ensure applications are tested to the defined level of acceptance
- Communicate closely with Product and Design teams
- Log bugs and investigate when and how introduced, prioritizing issues correctly
- Remain up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Must-haves
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an iOS QA Engineer
- Highly professional, with the ability to deliver proven work on tight schedules
- Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Proven work experience in software development
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
