Your Person:

Your Qualification:
- Have published at least one original Android app
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Familiarity of external frameworks, libraries, and SDKs
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with offline storage, background services, threading, FCM and performance tuning
- Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with SQL database
- Experience developing in a production environment
- Involvement with the open source community
- Knowledge of development best practices (Agile, Code Reviews, Testing)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Familiarity with common issue tracking tools (i.e. JIRA)
- Strong background in system and application level testing.
- Experience testing client and server applications.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all project roles, across multiple project teams.
Your Tasks
- Design and build the metru applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and API's - Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
