About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team. The Audit Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of audit engagements, managing client relationships, and guiding audit teams to deliver high-quality work by professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Duties will include:

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion in line with FRS102 and IFRS accounting standards, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for audit-related matters.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to audit teams, resolving complex accounting and auditing issues as they arise.
Review audit work papers, financial statements, and other documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
Supervise and mentor staff, providing coaching and professional development opportunities to foster growth and advancement within the firm.
Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging issues affecting clients, and communicate relevant updates to engagement teams and clients.
Collaborate with partners and senior leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiencies, and service enhancements.
Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking events, to support firm growth objectives.
