Job Descriptions:-

Operational Management
Oversee end-to-end courier operations
Make Supply Chain Management more effective
Manage Import and Export
To ensure daily tasks are completed within time to avoid any complaints
Take ownership of special projects to make dept. more efficient and effective
Participate in calls and meeting as representative of the Dept.
Assist other departments when they seek help
Coordinate with cross functions such as HR, Admin, IT, Software based on the requirement
Share feedback to direct reports as and when needed
Conduct monthly performance review for direct report
Take process improvement initiatives
Recommendations for process development based on customer feedback and analysis of the same.
Communication and being a focal point of dissemination of information from Manager to team.
Maintain confidentiality of the department's strategies
Sensitive to customer / business needs and solution driven

Key Skills:-

Prior work experience is usually required to work in a job in operations management together with a sound understanding of the international/domestic courier industry.
Strong organisational skills together with the ability to multi-task are essential.
You must be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, design, testing and implementation relating to operations management.
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, together with strong interpersonal skills are essential.
You must be able to problem solve and make decisions under pressure.
An Operations Manager must have excellent written and numeracy skills.
You must have competent IT skills and be aware and able to operate industry standard software used in Operations Management within the Courier industry
