ROLL FORMING LEAD

This position is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and quality of production for our roll forming line and managing the roll forming operations. The individual should be able to identify immediate quality problems by performing scheduled sampling as well as performing operator checks as per quality procedures and required product standards. The job involves performing setup work to ensure all materials are where they should be, checking the label of each material to be sure it's correct, helping stack products after you process them, and otherwise ensuring the roll forming machine continues to operate as intended.

Job responsibilities:

Operate the roll forming line and other machinery used in the production process or assist other machine operators.
Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
Must have strong experience with handling machines with raw materials and managing the condition of the machinery.
Be able to handle and load roll forming machine with raw material.
Be able to determine the condition of tools (rework and clean when necessary) and verify coolant levels in the equipment.
Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities and report productivity to the supervisor.
Adhere to the work environment and working hours relevant to the job.
Strong knowledge of roll form tooling and ability to evaluate and generate improvement opportunities to tooling and process is preferred.
Follow all company rules and policies.

Qualifications:

DAE or a minimum diploma in the respective field
1-2 years of experience in the sheet metal industry or industry with metal products.
Ability to understand engineering drawings and language.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Basic knowledge of machinery, operations, raw materials, and tools.
