We are a Canadian digital media company with a focus on children's digital entertainment. We are a streaming service and interactive platform that now has customers in 61 countries. Our core technology is Python/Django and we have integrated apps in iOS, Android and most Smart TV platforms. Our work environment brings together the best creatives with the best developers. We are seeking senior and mid-career developers for excellent career development in our new Pakistan office.

Position

You will work as part of a team of Canadian and Pakistani developers. The Full Stack Django Developers will be responsible for ongoing development of our streaming service and apps. Your goal is to improve usability and performance of our existing platform along with development of new features and products. The ideal candidate must be able to implement good looking, usable interfaces and core functionality through the backend, integration and deployment of the platform with telecom payment providers.

Responsibilities

Work with developer, creatives and project stakeholders to complete requirements and project plans
Design and develop well-functioning server-side architecture
Integrate with various payment systems and providers
Build visually appealing features for web and mobile
Test software to ensure robustness, responsiveness and efficiency
Optimize existing solutions for performance and security
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Write effective documentation
Propose creative solutions and communicate them clearly and effectively

Requirements

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Extremely comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Demonstrated proficiency in OO development
Possess a passion for making great applications
Excellent communications skills and abilities to work as part of a team
Ability to work unsupervised and be accountable for high levels of deliverables
Willingness to be part of a start-up culture with a sense of accountability to the bottom line
Degree or diploma in Computer Science or relevant field
