3D Modeler

MZ Technologies is looking to hire a 3D Modeler for their Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (XR) projects. The 3D experience build by the designer will be used in building AR/VR/XR application for Oculus, iPhone, and Android devices using the Unity platform and similar tools.

We are seeking an experienced 3D Modeler with a minimum of 1 year of experience and a strong foundation in 3D modeling and design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality 3D assets and a thorough understanding of industry-standard software like Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender. The 3D Modeler will work closely with our game designers, animators, and developers to create visually stunning 3D assets that meet the requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for use in games and other interactive media
An eye for delta and good visualization skills.
Ability to take feedback and make changes as required.
Extensive knowledge of character design, rigging, skinning etc.
Work collaboratively with designers, animators, and developers to ensure that 3D assets meet project requirements
Optimize 3D assets for performance and memory usage on a variety of platforms
Maintain consistent style, quality, and artistic integrity across all 3D assets
Continuously improve and optimize 3D assets to provide the best user experience • Stay up-to-date with the latest 3D modeling and design trends and techniques
Participate in peer reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in 3D modeling and design
Good understanding of 3D modeling software like Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender
Knowledge of 3D modeling techniques like sculpting, retopology, and UV mapping
Familiarity with industry-standard software packages like Substance Painter, ZBrush, or Photoshop
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
