NOOR EDUCATION TRUST (NET) is a non-profitable, non-governmental organization registered under the public/private Trust Act 1882 with the sub-registrar office Peshawar, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KP). The NET mission is to work for the protection and empowerment of the most vulnerable and marginalized groups of the society and to promote awareness and education regarding their fundamental human rights. In this context, the main objectives of NET are: � To raise awareness on gender-based violence and mobilize community to protect the right of women and children. � To provide safe shelter, legal aid, Psycho-social counselling, rehabilitation and social reintegration to women survivors of violence and their children through Mera- Ghar crisis intervention program. � To prevent gender-based violence through collaboration with statutory agencies and other NGOs working for women and children rights. � Promote child rights, education and protection to displaced children through the child focus program called Rarr�an. � Empower Youth as movers and change agents to advocate for protection and promotion of Human rights. � Protect dignity and respect of vulnerable communities, women and children during armed conflict, displacement and emergencies.
