Manage the Import processes in a cost-effective way according to defined timelines.

Generate all inquiries regarding procurement of raw materials and maintain inventory at optimal level.
Effective Forecasting and planning to meet the demand of raw materials.
Co-ordinate with banks and legal bodies regarding LCs, bank contract, NOCs & all other documents related to imports.
Maintain a high degree of professional and ethical relationships with internal departments and external suppliers.
Manage the flow of all inbound shipments of raw materials.
Oversee sourcing process to identify and qualify new vendors.
Negotiate with suppliers for price reductions in accordance with cost reduction initiatives
Must be well versed with all custom formalities to clear the shipment in agreed time lines.
