Outclass accountants is an accounting firm based in Brisbane, Australia. Partners are having 20+ years of combined experience in the accounting industry. We are looking for a bookkeeper/accountant as per the below details.

Job description

  • Recording financial transactions of a business in bookkeeping software (such as Xero or QuickBooks), spreadsheets or databases. 
  • Arranging payment of accounts.
  • Preparing and sending invoices and receipts to debtors.
  • Processing payroll and maintaining employee records.
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations.
  • Reporting for preparation of a Business Activity Statement (BAS).
  • Checking figures and reporting for accuracy.
  • Reporting any irregularities in data to management.
  • Producing balance sheets, income statements and other financial documents.
  • Any other task assign by the management.

To be successful you are: 

  • Energetic, enthusiastic & flexible in your work practices
  • Strong desire to learn Australian standards and software.
  • Have strong organisational skills, Commitment and dedication
  • Can demonstrate proficiency with software’s and accounting concepts
  • Qualifications in accounting or business administration. 
  • Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles. 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Sound Australian experience providing bookkeeping in a commercial environment
  • Up to date knowledge of Australian Tax Office and Superannuation requirements
  • Strong attention to detail
