A fantastic opportunity for a Games Graphic Designer/Visual Effects Artist to join a Games start-up company.
We are a young, exciting game studio looking to expand our Game Development Studio team.

Description

We are looking for a creative game graphic designer with a natural ability to draw beautiful graphics and create high quality, breathtaking visuals effects animation using Unity’s particle system.
As a candidate you are self-motivated, goal-oriented and a strong team player.
You take pride in your work and know what it means to take responsibility and deliver quality-focused products.
You enjoy working with a dynamic and agile team.
You have the knowledge and ability to visualize how things should work, and how to translate this into beautiful graphics.
You will also be expected to apply your graphic skill set and VFX in other parts of the game/map/characters where necessary, to help refine, flesh out and establish a thoroughly polished game title.

Ideal Candidate

A star performer that has a great positive attitude, fast learner, detail-oriented, proactive and willing to take direction, however, should be able to give guidance and add their creative ideas.

Strong ability to work in both 2D and 3D space.

Must be able to work remotely
Must be able to work independently on tasks
Work closely with the team to ensure the requirements are met and ensure the team is guided effectively through the creative process.
Meticulous, methodical, and accurate
Expert in Unity’s Particle system
Proven Visual Effects experience using Unity’s Particle system (with a portfolio of examples)
Natural ability to draw stunning 2D/3D graphics and sprites (again with a portfolio of examples)
Ability to create Particle Effects for specific abilities, weapons and attacks
Ability to create Particles for mobile platforms with optimizations
Working knowledge of lighting and shaders
Able to add your creativity and provide guidance
Deep understanding of colours, contrasts and visual effects
Familiarity with Unity Engine
The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong background in graphic design and animation with the following experience
When requested, must be able to work UK hours (notice will be given)
Excellent Communications Skills
Has an artistic interest.
Personal interest in current games titles on the market.
