Senior Monitoring Evaluation & Reporting Officer / Coordinator

We are seeking a Senior Monitoring Evaluation & Reporting (MER) Officer / Coodinator with excellent knowledge and experience. This is an Islamabad-based contractual position with full-time dedication. The MER Officer collaborates with the designated area managers, project managers, implementation partners, and relevant government authorities to oversee the setup and implementation of MER for the designated project activity.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor, evaluate, and report on the assigned project area’s progress and results.
Design and carry out baseline studies, midterm reviews, and end-line studies.
Monitor, report, and revise project indicators and log-frame as required.
Design tailored qualitative and quantitative data collection tools to measure project performance against indicators.
Actively visit the project sites and generate qualitative as well as quantitative evidence of progress and results.
Develop and lead training for project staff and government counterparts on M&E data collection.
Collect and analyze data to assess progress towards project targets and milestones, including disaggregating and analyzing data by various variables.
Write high-quality reports, success stories, and highlights, tailored to different audiences to show progress and results.
Conduct presentations and offer statistics on project performance over time.
Any other responsibility as assigned by the supervisor or head of the office.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, preferably with a relevant certification.
A minimum of eight years of relevant MER experience in a donor-funded environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Urdu.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio) as well as capacity to operate in relevant databases.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to meet targets within tight deadlines.
Result-oriented team player and leader.
Sound judgment, flexibility, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.
Integrity, transparent, persistence, initiative, and quick learner.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
