Potential candidate will be the one who has following abilities;

operate the boiler, observe and interpret reading on gauges and charts.
manage boiler and OI heater fuel.
maintain safety limits for boiler operation such as water level, back pressure,etc.
ensure safety standards around the boiler oin order to avoid any incident.
maintains logs of operation, maintenance and safety activities.
