Opportunity Notes:

This is a complete work from home international work opportunity. You will be required to work from 9:00 am to 6:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time), Monday to Friday and 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday. Holidays are granted based on Canadian scheduled holidays.

Job Description

This position focuses on providing direct tangible support to our primary Staff Accountant and various departments of the company, such as the Talent Acquisition and Administration desk. This position requires an individual to be multi-task oriented and able to manage their time in a high-pressure environment.

In this role, you are expected to:

  • Prospect for new candidates via cold and warm cold to recruit to the brokerage
  • Provide assistance to the sales team in collecting, sorting and organizing documentation related to client files
  • Load applications and forms onto the company’s LOS Systems
  • Handle client inquiries and manage any processing related activities by being a central point of contact between underwriting, sales team and the clients
  • Promote employee communication activities and channels to encourage feedback from staff and salespeople
  • Handling inbound calls
  • Provide back-office support when and if required
  • Maintain a high level of care and confidentiality when handling company materials
  • Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations and industry codes of conduct as well as participate in process improvement opportunities to protect the interests of the organization
  • Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets

Job Requirements:

  • 4-year post-secondary degree in Finance
  • Post Secondary Qualifications are preferred
  • 3-4 years of work experience in a finance role in a financial and investments company
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a Sales and Customer Relationship environment
  • 2-3 years of work General Administrative work experience
  • Proficiency in software tools including MS Office, CRM, Accounting applications, cloud-based work environments, and internet applications
  • Tactful communicator able to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way
  • A self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills

  • A desktop workstation based on our specifications with 2 hours of battery backup

  • Electricity backup (Ups/Generator/Others)
