I am working in sales promtion of educational products and services for the last 19 years or so, currently with the Knowledge Platform, Islamabad as a Schools Relationship Manager since Feeb 2018. Knowedge Platform is working in blended learning and we provide curriculum aligned learning solutions to schools. Prior to this i have worked for the Association for Academic Quality (AFAQ) as a Regional Manager Sales-Islamabad Region. AFAQ is Pakistan based organization working in the field of Curriculum Development, Educational Services and Teachers and Management Trainings for the holistic development of schools. Prior to this I have also worked with Oxford University Press, Islamabad as an Assistant Manager Sales, Higher Education Academic and Trade (HEAT). Therefore I have experience of sales in schools books and higher education. Currently at AFAQ my job description includes managing sales team of Islamabad, Rawalpindi including Murree, Gujar Khan, Kalar Syedan and whole Attock districts (whole territory is called Islamabad Region). Some of the features of my JD are as follows 1. Managing a sales team of 10 representative in achieving the annual sales targets, annual training targets (paid and free of cost) and Educational Services (Educational Pre-Audit, Character Building Manuals etc) 2. Managing and keeping tabs on the market trends 3. I am responsible for the schools outreach for the implementation of Knowledge Platform's Learning Solutions. As a senior member of the team i need to keep a good relationship with the existing partner schools in terms of subscription, engagement and other issues. Moreover, event planning, marketing strategy, outreaching chains or schools systems like Smart School System, Fazaiza, Fauji Foundation and other important schools in the region also is part of my Job Description.
