Roles & Responsibilities
 
ü  Worked with national and provincial governments to advocate, influence and provide technical assistance for policies and legislation for gender responsive framework for gender equality & women’s economic empowerment.
ü  Worked with civil society and other stakeholders including women with disabilities and transgender, women informal workers living below the poverty line and women affected by conflicts.
ü  Worked with private sector for building enabling and a favorable environment for women, youth, PWD, transgender & ethnic groups of the society for gender mainstreaming.
ü  Created an enabling environment for improved agency and access to services and skills for women workers (WWs) and women-owned businesses (WOBs).
ü  Enabled WHBWs Access to Finances through Linkages with Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs).
ü  Sensitization of Private Sector through Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
ü  Organized & supervised capacity building trainings on GBV for community based paralegals.
ü  Overall project coordination, planning, implementation, monitoring, budgeting & reporting as per project document.
ü  Organization of  social, economic & political activities for women & youth empowerment,
ü  Creating an enabling environment for women’s access to justice, enabling effective, accountable & gender responsive institutions & legally empowering women to EVAW.
ü  Steps taken for GBV prevention (by working with LOs, civil society, key stakeholders, faith leaders, women & men), for GBV response (providing services to survivors) & prosecution (to ensure that perpetrators are prosecuted & to end impunity by strengthening legal & judicial system).  
ü  Implementation of Rights based GBV approach & guiding principles.
ü  Coordination for Advocacy meetings with the DCs/ADCs, ACs, line departments such as SCSW, SWD, WDD, WCPC, Law, Education, Sindh Child Protection Unit and Health for women empowerment.
ü   Coordination and organization of monthly DCC meeting at the districts, Drafting of meeting agenda and minutes for approval from competent authority.
ü  Designed & implemented good governance & good practice principles.
ü  Organization of project events (Open Forums, Engagement meetings, Exposure visits & trainings on Capacity building through technical & vocational courses, Referral mechanism, SRH & family planning, Vaccination, Fundamental Human Rights, Constitutional & legal Rights of Women in Pakistan & on Pro-women laws).
ü  Organization of various capacity building trainings at Dar-ul-Aman.
ü  Developed SOPs and provide technical support to field-based staff in developing and strengthening community-based support mechanism and committees.
ü  Organized awareness sessions on COVID-19 SOPs & vaccination campaigns.
ü  Development & dissemination of project ICE material on various platforms.
ü  Documentation & sharing of lessons learnt and success stories from projects.
ü  Formation & dissemination of project ICE material.

Field Work
ü  Union councils & villages mapping for data collection of Friends of Empowerment Women Group.
ü  Qualitative & Quantitative data collection and data analyzing for the formation of Friends of Women Empowerment Group (FWEG).
ü  Organized consultation meetings with individuals and groups such as women councilors, LHWs, school teachers, industry workers, farmers groups, COs, PWD, WROs and ordinary citizens for the FWEG formation.
ü  Identification of Social Activists and Allies/Supporters of the project theme in consultation with local government officials, women representatives, CSOs and CBOs.
ü  Formation of Community Organizations / Village Organizations / Local Support Organizations / Women Rights Organizations & community based paralegls.
ü  Formation of Friends of Women Empowerment Group (FWEG) around 2000 members from various fields.
ü  Overall communication & activities discussions with FWEG members.
ü  Conducted Focused Group Discussion (FGD) with each FEW Groups.
ü  Developed and conducted Training Need Assessment (TNA) with FEW Groups & finalized the results.
ü  Conducted KII with district administration / line departments of the project.
ü  Surveys, situational analyses, market research, and product introduction and promotion.
ü  Training, awareness raising, dialogues on a variety of issues, feedback, marketing, information, education and communication, thereby increasing community participation in public sector projects.
ü  Conflict resolution and peace building.
ü  Organized Linkages Development sessions for Linking FWE Groups with WDD facilities, SWD facilities/offices, WPC, Police stations and complaint centers, and Health department (including medico-legal professionals) through exposure visits and introductory meetings with key focal persons. 
ü  Organized Trainings of FWEG members on women’s legal rights, available redress mechanisms, awareness-raising and advocacy.
ü  Organized ‘Khuli Kacheri’s / Open Forums where FEW enable women from local communities to visit district government facilities (WPCs/WDCs run by WDD, SWD, police stations/complaint centers, and health department facilities) and share problems, needs and demands for improvement in service delivery.
ü  Over all office administration.
