Project Coordinator/ Inspection Engineer
Key Responsibility:
• Selection of an appropriate inspection/NDT techniques as per codes/standards and
specification.
• Review of WPS, PQR, WQTR, NDT, & qualification of Welder against ASME sec IX and API
1104.
• Application of Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) and Vacuum Box
Testing (VBT) on tank bottom, roof deck and pontoon surface plate joints.
• Witnessing of all testing / activities including Vacuum Box Testing, Hydro testing of Tank,
Paint Thickness (DFT), DPT and MPI.
• Ultrasonic Testing of welding joints and preparation of final reports.
• Holiday testing of coating insulation (i.e. Polyethylene, epoxy and PVC liner) by using High
and Low Voltage as per requirement.
• Supervision of a team of inspectors and multi-disciplined NDT personnel’s.
• Preparation of inspection reports with all findings, abnormalities and repair rectification.
Final Year Project
Project Title:
• Design and Installation of Cathodic Protection (CP) system of underground gas pipeline using impressed current method
Internee Engineer (Metallurgical and Materials)
• Completed Training at various department of foundry which include Pattern Shop, Melting unit, Green Sand Plant, Core Shop, Core Assembly, Finishing Shop and Quality Management.
Internee Engineer (Metallurgical and Materials)
• Completed Training at ICP (Investment Casting Plant) at pattern shop, melting unit, quality control department (which include NDT techniques Penetrant inspection and X-ray inspection)
