Experience in setting up WebSphere MQ distributed queuing environment
Minimum 7-9 years of experience.
Administration and Configuration of WebSphere MQ V7, V8, and V9 on different environments like Aix, Solaris, Linux Windows
Expertise in MQ version upgrade, applying Fix pack and Migration of MQ from one platform to other
Experience in setting MQ clustering environment & triggering
Experience in monitoring and defining MQ objects in UNIX and Windows environment
Strong debugging and troubleshooting experience in all the areas of MQ in distributed platforms
Experience in DR Test for various MQ Setups like OS Cluster and MQHA
Ability to communicate well to system owners
Experience in the ITIL process areas such as Change management, Incident management, Problem management and Release management
Experience in Message Broker administration is a Plus.
Experience on Sun Solaris, AIX, Linux, Window and z/OS.
Experience on MQ resources Capacity Planning.
Experience on Automating administration tasks as possible.
Good knowledge in UNIX shell scripting skills for MQ administration and Support activities.
Good knowledge of IIB 10 brokers and their administrations related to MQ.
Good knowledge of IBM WAS administrations.
