Candidates needed to fulfill the role of Medical Biller for overseas clients. This is an opportunity on the ground floor with lots of potential to grow.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare, review and submit initial claims in a manner that reduces chances of denial
Follow up on denied claims in a timely manner for resolution - submit corrected claims and/or appeal denials
Verify and process insurance refunds
Verify patient eligibility and benefits
Follow up on Accounts Receivable, delinquent accounts
Communicate using phone, email, fax, web portals and medical billing software with various stakeholders (insurance companies, medical providers and patients)
Obtain pre-authorizations as necessary
Maintain high degree of confidentiality as it relates to patient, customer and employee data
Will be required to work night shift

Qualifications

Must have prior experience as a medical biller working with medical providers, insurance companies and patients (US based)
Working knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management
Experience with medical billing software
Effective communication and customer service skills
Fluency in spoken & written English is a must
Medical coding experience (ICD/CPT/HCPCS) preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred required
