Senior Node.js Backend Engineer

As a Senior Node.js Backend Engineer at PickySolution, you will be at the forefront of developing high-performance applications and platforms. Your role involves extensive backend programming, database management, and collaboration with our DevOps team to deploy robust and scalable cloud-based solutions. You will bring a wealth of experience in Node.js and other backend technologies to drive our services to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable APIs and services using Node.js and Express.js.
Develop and maintain applications written in TypeScript, ensuring type safety and reliability.
Manage and optimize databases, both SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB), for performance and efficiency.
Utilize Elastic Search to enhance our applications' search capabilities and performance.
Integrate cloud services and understand the basics of cloud architecture to support application deployment.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline deployment processes and ensure seamless CI/CD.
Write clean, maintainable, and documented code, adhering to best practices.
Lead backend development projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and scalability.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose their adoption where beneficial.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development with a strong emphasis on Node.js.
Expertise in developing APIs and web services using frameworks like Express.js.
Proficiency in TypeScript, with a keen eye for type-safe and scalable code practices.
In-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly MySQL and MongoDB.
Experience with Elastic Search, setting up, configuring, and optimizing search indices.
Basic knowledge of cloud services, preferably AWS, and understanding of cloud-native development.
Familiarity with best practices in security, scalability, and data protection.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
