We are looking for a very creative and talented 2D modeler and animator. Candidates having a degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts, or relevant fields are welcome to apply. They must possess great typography skills coupled with great research skills. Branding Portfolio and knowledge of animation design are a must-have. Proficient in CGI software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, etc.). The candidates will be required to liaise with clients and develop crisp animation from their concepts and also create storyboards that depict the script and narrative acceptable to the client

Preferred Requirements:

Liaising with clients and developing animation from their concepts.

Creating storyboards that depict the script and narrative.

Drawing in 2D to create sketches, artwork or illustrations.

Designing models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environment.

Developing the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images and ensuring they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements.

Building up accurate, detailed, frame-by-frame visuals.

Recording dialogue and working with editors to composite the various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters and graphics) in order to produce the finished piece

Working to production deadlines and meeting clients’ commercial requirements

Skills & Experience:

Degree in computer animation, graphic design, fine arts or relevant field.

Proven experience as animator.

Knowledge of 2D, stop-motion and computer-generated animation.

Proficient in CGI software (Photoshop, Illustrator , Maya etc.)

Using technical software packages, such as Fl, Maya, LightWave, Softimage etc.

Experience in project management.

A creative storyteller with presentation abilities.

Comfortable working with deadlines and budget restrictions.

Teamwork and excellent communication skills.

Job Details:

We offer schedule flexibility; the candidate is free to take time and days off as long as it does not significantly affect their performance, our team, or our ability to meet project deadlines.

This is a full-time long-term position and depending on the developer’s job performance, can last indefinitely.

The candidate is expected to work 10am to 5pm, Monday – Friday.
