Senior PHP Developer

We at PointofIT are looking for an experienced programmer with excellent communication skills and hands-on experience working with PHP/MVC Frameworks (such as Laravel, Codeigniter etc.) The required candidate should have great expertise working with complex PHP/MYSQL/MVC applications. The use of clean, well commented and standard coding is a must alongside expertise with JS, Ajax, jQuery are also required skillset.

Responsibilities:

Write clean, well-designed code
Troubleshoot and test core product software to ensure strong optimization
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

Qualifications:

Must have 6-8 years relevant experience.
Strong experience primarily in Code Igniter and secondarily in Laravel PHP framework is required.
Full-stack development experience is required with more focus towards the front end.
Direct SQL programming and optimization is a mandatory requirement.
Experience with Git is required. Clarity on merge practices will be a plus.
In-depth knowledge and practice of current trends in PHP and JavaScript development practices, ideologies, and code organization will be a big plus.
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
