We are looking for a Category Assistant who will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of item data in our system. This role involves collaborating with Category Managers, Category Executives, Suppliers, and the Supply Chain team to ensure our catalog is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Items Creation:
Create new items as selected by Category Managers (CM) & Category Executives (CE)
Ensure high-quality content aligned with internal guidelines
Coordinate with the Supply Chain (SC) team when necessary
Gather required data from suppliers for item creation or relisting
Items Updates:
Process supplier requests to update item information in Oracle promptly
Act on internal feedback and implement corrections if needed
Update stock tags based on SC and supplier inputs
Data Audit:
Conduct regular checks on item content and category mapping
Perform quarterly full master data audits to enhance content quality
