Perform Ultrasonic, visual, testing, dye penetration and identification of all shafts received from customer prior to re-shelling,
Responsible to perform testing of all imported shafts
Ensure size of new shafts as per demand
Inform Import office in case of defects observed during NDT of imported shafts
Perform Non-destructive testing (Ultrasonic tests, Die-penetrate test and magnetic partial tests) of all components in house and on site
Responsible to execute ultrasonic testing during manufacturing process (where required by customer)
Perform Magnetic Particle and liquid penetrant testing during manufacturing process as per the manufacturing Quality Plan
Coordinate with third party for NDT inspection and Coordinate with foreign clients for Non-Destructive testing matters
Prepare UT reports and allot a unique UT number to each shaft
Ensure punching of UT number after performing ultrasonic testing
Prepare and verify Non-destructive test reports and also share with marketing department
Keep all the NDT related record properly maintained and updated
