Junior Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dairy farm team. The Junior Accountant will support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and performing essential accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent numerical proficiency, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
Compiles weekly and monthly financial statements and reports.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in a timely manner.
Handles the month-end and year-end closing process.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors promptly.
Assist in the coordination and completion of internal and external audits.
Perform data entry and administrative tasks as required.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Having a knowledge and experience in agriculture industry would be plus point.
