This role will be responsible for the successful implementation and execution bank network infrastructure. Installation, management, maintenance of Branch/Data Center network devices. Also performs a variety of complex professional and technical duties related to the installation, maintenance and configuration of the computer network including network, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, LAN and WAN.
Include the following.
Management of all network devices including, Routers, switches, firewalls, access points and monitoring tools.
Provide level 3 support for onsite and remote technical issues.
Implementation and execution of VPN’s connectivity with 3rd parties and branches.
Responsible for the management of all CORE / DR and branch network operation.
Responsible for integration and connectivity for all Branches, CORE and disaster recovery site. Ensure the connections is secure and meets the SBP requirements.
Responsible for the monitoring, configuration and installation of all network equipment’s and internet security.
Responsible for the IT disaster backup and recovery systems.
Planning the network infrastructure for new applications.
Responsible for the branches connectivity and ensure timely support services.
Responsible for all sort of routing related issues with the service providers to ensure the connectivity of branches, Core site and disaster recovery site.
Responsible for the connectivity of Mobile Application services and Nadra services.
Responsible for the execution of new network hardware to branches and data centers.
Responsible for the management of structured & network cabling, planning and implementation for all sites.
Purchasing and maintaining networking equipment and infrastructure
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Strong hands on experience implementing and troubleshooting Cisco Network equipment, protocols and features e.g. VPN, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, routers, switches LAN/WAN.
Manage all network hardware equipment including routers, switches and firewall.
Understands, installs and configures network equipment utilizing varied protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, LACP, PAGP, VRRP and HSRP.
Technically proficient with all current and potential concepts of the IT industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Supervises the work of the network technical staff.
Ability to work under pressure and should have excellent vendor management skills.
Flexibility to work on odd hours.
