SANYOU Machinery & Technology is looking for a skilled and driven R&D Manager with expertise in spinning machinery and related industrial systems such as compressors and air conditioning. Located in Lahore, the successful candidate will lead the research, development, and innovation efforts to create advanced textile machinery solutions. This role requires a strong commitment to aligning product development with international standards, improving energy efficiency, and fulfilling customer needs. The R&D Manager will be instrumental in advancing technology and maintaining the company’s competitive edge in the textile machinery industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and testing of spinning machinery along with associated systems including compressors and HVAC units. Manage cross-functional R&D teams to ensure delivery of technically sound and commercially viable products. Conduct benchmarking, market analysis, and feasibility studies to identify new machinery concepts and opportunities. Collaborate closely with manufacturing, sales, and after-sales teams to enhance product reliability and performance. Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovations focused on energy efficiency. Ensure all engineering activities comply with regulatory and safety standards. Oversee prototyping, trials, testing, and documentation for new developments. Engage with global technology partners and vendors to incorporate advanced solutions into the product portfolio.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in R&D or technical design within spinning machinery or related industrial systems. Strong expertise in ring spinning, blow room, draw frames, and air compressors. Proven hands-on experience managing R&D projects, utilizing CAD software, and preparing detailed technical documentation. Familiarity with energy efficiency standards, industrial automation, and HVAC system integration. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and resolve complex technical challenges effectively. Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments and report to senior management.
