Job Description
We are looking for a Computer & Network Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. Applicant should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
Applicant’s goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Install and configure software and hardware.
• Configuring and manage network servers and technology tools.
• Set up systems accounts and workstations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems in computer systems.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
• Windows, Linux and Ubuntu OS installation and degradation.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role·
• Must have hands on experience with configuring routers, switches and deploying a network.
• Working with Firewalls, Servers, Switching and routing, patch management.
• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
• Sound knowledge of computer hardware diagnostics and repair works.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
• Resourcefulness and should be a valuable team player.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• DAE or preferable B.Tech in relevant field from a credible institute.
