• Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy to support the organization's mission and goals.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and  secure financial support for the organization.
  • Research and identify funding opportunities from  corporations, and individual donors.
  • Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals, funding applications, and donor reports, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with program managers and other team members to gather information and data necessary for proposal development and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a donor database, tracking interactions, funding history, and potential opportunities.
  • Plan and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage donors and raise funds for the organization.
  • Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and regulations in resource mobilization and fundraising, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resource mobilization activities and adjust strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or grant writing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Demonstrated success in securing funding from diverse sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to engage and inspire potential donors and partners.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using fundraising software, donor databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices, donor stewardship, and grant management.
  • Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to social impact.
