Senior WordPress Backend Developer

RED SIGNAL is looking for WordPress Developer responsible for back-end, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, JavaScript, Ajax and Json).

The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience in working with Magento 1 and Magento 2 is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including development, and deployment (git, nginx, etc) is required.

Required Skills

• Hands on Wordpress and Magento.

• Experienced with PHP/MySQL web application development based on zend/laravel frameworks.

• Sound understanding of relational database concepts and implementation.

• MySQL database creation, complex query design & optimization.

• Have a strong understanding of OOP, OOD & strong problem solving skills.

• Good to have knowledge of Web services / SOAP / XML.Knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript / JQuery preferred.

• Development of modifications and add-on modules to existing php applications.

• Understanding of SEO best practice in web development & design.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}

• Ability to translate business requirements into system design.

• Strong understanding of Themeforest coding standards.

• Ability to partner and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

• Strong debugging skills with ability to easily and quickly read, write and modify code.

• Great Communication

• Minimum degree should be BSCS

Experience of theme development on themeforest and plugins development on codecanyon is must!
