Duties & Responsibilities:

Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Preparing accounts and tax returns
Monitoring spending and budgets
Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
Financial forecasting and risk analysis
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
Create and update expense reports
Process reimbursement forms
Prepare bank deposits
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting CRM software (e.g. QuickBooks)
Enter financial transactions into internal databases
Check spreadsheets for accuracy
Maintain digital and physical financial records
Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
Review and file payroll documents
Participate in quarterly and annual audits

Qualifications:

At minimum, an Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping. Bachelor's degree preferred( B.com, ACCA,M.COM). An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
5 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience
Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently on assigned duties
Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
