CCTV operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video, reporting incidents or suspicious behavior and contacting the supervisor when necessary. During the job he will be responsible to carry out the following tasks:

Capable to operate the software for archiving old footage as needed, organizing old footage in an orderly fashion, and switching out videotapes, compact discs, memory cards, hard drives or servers if required.
Capable to perform basic trouble shooting in case of any issues and also maintain and repair equipment both analog and digital systems.
Maintain footage storage as per the guidelines from the admin team and management.
CCTV Operators must watch the video surveillance footage at all time when it is being displayed and ensure it is being recorded simultaneously.
Operator must be very focused and vigilant so that whenever they witness something unusual, suspicious or questionable instantaneously note and report to the duty supervisor for prompt action.
Assist in day-to-day operational activities of the community as & when required and/or assigned.
Any other task that may assign from time to time.
