The ideal candidate will be working with a local and offshore team in Canada on a product that requires constant innovation and new technologies upgrades on a frequent basis.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Android Development.
Skills Required:
- Android Studio and Java SDK, JSON, XML, REST
- Experience in all parts of the Android ecosystem including:
- Application development (application structure; device and operating system API’s; debugging; performance; security)
- Deployment, updating, and roll-out
- 3rd party integration points including gson, Facebook, Google APIs
- Should have strong OOP concepts.
- Good experience of making REST API Calls and error handling.
- Good concept of how to better manage memory and CPU.
- Handling on-device SQL Lite database required for applications.
- Should have strong memory and multi-threading management skills for the Android environment.
- Hands-on experience of publishing and deployment of Android apps.
- Multi-tasking with an ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
- Working experience of Web Services implementation.
PLUS: Knowledge of Google Android material design principles, iOS experience.
